Safe Practice & Environment Policy
Fuller Life Therapy Services is dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for participants, visitors, and our team of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), Allied Health Assistants (AHAs), and all other staff. We understand the importance of delivering services in a safe setting and prioritising the protection of our workers from potential injuries wherever possible.
Given the nature of many therapeutic support services, some risks are inherent in promoting participant progress and delivering services within the community (see Service Delivery Model and Rights & Responsibilities in the Service Agreement). Therefore, it is challenging to guarantee that all therapeutic environments are ideal. Nevertheless, through thorough assessments, specialised training, use of personal protective equipment, and thoughtful organisation of workplace conditions and structures, Fuller Life Therapy Services diligently works to reduce potential hazards while respecting participant rights and responsibilities.

Child Safe Environment Compliance Statement
In South Australia, organisations providing services to children and young people must, by law, provide child safe environments. Fuller Life Therapy Services endeavours to provide a safe environment for all children and has complied with this legislation by:
- having child safe environments policies in place
- reviewing and updating policies as required and at least once every 5 years.
- meeting 'Working with Children Check' obligations, and
- lodging a child safe environments compliance statement with the Department of Human Services including lodging a new statement each time policies are reviewed and updated.
